Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026 · Version 2026-08
Centennial Fitness is operated by KMA Equity Partners, Inc. This policy explains what data we collect — including health and fitness data from your phone, watch, and connected wearable accounts — how we use it, who can see it, and the choices and rights you have. Centennial Fitness is a consumer fitness and wellness app, not a healthcare provider, and the data described here is not medical record data.
What we collect
Account details you provide: email address, display name, and the optional profile settings you fill in (such as height, birth year, sex, and unit preferences) that we use to calculate your targets.
Fitness data you log yourself: workouts, exercises, sets and weights, nutrition entries, body metrics, goals, and the content you post to groups, challenges, and your profile.
Health and fitness data from your device or a connected account, only if you turn that connection on — see "Health and wearable data" below.
Payment information for paid memberships and marketplace purchases is handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the last four digits of the card; we do not store full card numbers.
Basic device, log, and usage information (app version, device type, IP address, in-app interactions) needed to run, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Health and wearable data
Centennial Fitness can read health and fitness data from two kinds of sources, and both are off until you explicitly turn them on: (1) the health store on your own device — Apple Health / HealthKit on iOS and Google Health Connect on Android, which is also how data from an Apple Watch, a Wear OS watch, or Samsung Health reaches us; and (2) connected wearable cloud accounts you authorize by signing in to that provider — currently Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, WHOOP, Withings, Polar, and Wahoo.
The categories we may read are: workouts and activities; steps; active and total energy burned; heart rate and resting heart rate; heart-rate variability; sleep; weight and body composition; VO2max; recovery, readiness, and strain scores; blood oxygen (SpO2); respiratory rate; mindfulness sessions; cycling power and power zones; training plans; and, where you have enabled workout location, the start location or route of a workout.
Why we read each of these: activity, steps, and energy feed your daily activity summary and your calorie and nutrition targets; workouts import into your training log and progress trends; heart rate powers workout heart-rate zones and effort summaries; sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, recovery and readiness give you recovery context next to your training load; weight and body composition drive your weight trend and weight-dependent targets; VO2max, SpO2, respiratory rate, and mindfulness appear in your health dashboard; workout start location lets a workout be stamped with where it happened (for example, "at the gym") on the workout detail screen.
Workout location is a location stamp or a recorded route tied to a specific workout you log — it is not continuous background tracking outside of a workout, and it is not used to build a profile of your movements. Precise geolocation is a specially protected category under several state privacy laws, so it is separately controlled and can be turned off without affecting the rest of the app.
Consent is granular. Your device asks you to approve each health data type, and you can revoke any of them in your device settings at any time. Inside Centennial Fitness, each connection has its own per-provider and per-data-type toggles on the Connections screen, and disconnecting a provider lets you choose whether to keep or delete the data already imported from it.
We read only the data types the app actually uses for the features described above. We do not read a health data type we have no feature for.
Health data obtained through Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect is never used for advertising or marketing, is never sold, is not stored in iCloud, and is not disclosed to third parties for their own purposes. The same commitments apply to data pulled from a connected wearable account.
Centennial Fitness does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing shown in the app is a medical device output or a clinical interpretation of your data. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about any health concern.
How we use it
To provide the app: save your workouts, nutrition, and progress; calculate goals and targets; power groups, challenges, leaderboards, and coaching; and personalize what you see.
To operate the business: process payments for memberships and marketplace orders, provide support, and send service messages about your account.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and cheating, debug problems, and improve features.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your health, fitness, or location data for advertising of any kind, ours or anyone else’s.
Sharing with your coach
If you work with a trainer or coach on Centennial Fitness, your health and wearable data is not visible to them by default. Sharing it requires an explicit opt-in from you, and it only applies while an active coach link exists between you and that coach.
You can withdraw that sharing at any time in Settings, which immediately stops your coach’s access to your health summary.
Settings also includes a "who can see my data" view that shows, in one place, what your coach, your public profile, and the groups you belong to can each see.
Who else we share it with
Service providers that host and run the platform on our behalf — our cloud infrastructure provider, our identity provider, our payment processor, and similar vendors — process data under contracts that require them to protect it and to use it only to provide the service to us.
Content you choose to post to groups, public profiles, challenges, or leaderboards is visible to other members by design. What you post publicly is your choice.
We may disclose data where required by law, to respond to lawful legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of members and the public.
If the business is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction; we will disclose it and honor the commitments in this policy.
Your rights and choices
You can view and update your profile and your privacy settings at any time in Settings.
You can export a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy, and you can permanently delete your account and its data from the same screen. Deletion removes your account, your logged data, and health data imported from connected sources.
You can disconnect any wearable or device connection, or turn off individual health data types, from the Connections screen — and separately revoke access in Apple Health or Google Health Connect on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we treat precise geolocation and health data as sensitive personal information used only for the purposes described above. California residents may also limit the use of sensitive personal information; because we already use it only to provide the features you asked for, no additional limitation is needed, but you can withdraw consent by disconnecting the source or deleting your account.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, use the Contact page or the in-app tools above; we may need to verify that the request comes from your account.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and limited to what is needed to operate the service.
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account erases it, subject to limited retention where the law requires it or where records are needed to resolve a dispute or a completed transaction.
Backups are retained on a rolling basis and are overwritten in the ordinary course.
HIPAA and what this app is not
Centennial Fitness is a consumer fitness product. It is not a covered entity or a business associate under HIPAA, the data in it is not protected health information under HIPAA, and this policy — not HIPAA — is what governs it.
If you are ever offered a clinical or telehealth service that is separate from this app, that service will have its own notice of privacy practices and its own consents, and you would be told clearly before any information moved to it. Nothing in the fitness app sends your data into a clinical system without you.
Children
Centennial Fitness is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy. Material changes will be surfaced in the app for renewed acknowledgment, and the effective date and version at the top of this page will change.
Centennial Fitness is operated by KMA Equity Partners, Inc. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the Contact page or the support channel in the app.
